School Based Speech Therapist - SLP (Full or Part Time)

BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for multiple school-based positions in Jenks, OK. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and language development. 

Positions Available:

• 1 High School Opening
• 1 5th/6th Grade Opening
• 2 Elementary (K-4th) Openings

Caseloads: Typically around 50 students for a full-time SLP

Caseload/Details:

• Start Time: 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM (depending on site start time)
• Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing communication with families
• Conduct screenings and evaluations as necessary

Details & Requirements:

• Location: Jenks, OK
• Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, Contract (35 hours/week for full-time)
• Start Date: January 20, 2025
• End Date: May 22, 2025

Experience:

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
• Comfortable working with a range of student ages (Elementary through High School)

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current Oklahoma State SLP License
• ASHA Certification preferred
• Experience with IEP development and speech therapy in schools is a plus
