Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team in Maywood, IL. This position is with the PAEC (Public Alternative Education Cooperative), which serves multiple districts as well as its own schools and centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Behavioral Assessment: Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify the needs and goals of students with behavioral challenges.

  • Behavior Intervention Planning: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students' social and emotional development.

  • Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to provide guidance and support in implementing behavior management strategies.

  • Data Collection: Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.

  • Training: Provide training to school staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Behavior Analyst License (BCBA).
  • Experience working as a BCBA in an educational or school setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families to support students' behavioral needs.
