School Counselor - Full Time in Castle Rock, CO

Blazer Jobs is partnered with a school district in Castle Rock, CO actively hiring an experienced School Counselor. The position will entail working with K-12 students and providing guidance on academic, social, and emotional issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to students, individually and in groups.
• Assist students in developing educational and career plans.
• Conduct classroom guidance lessons on various topics, such as study skills and stress management.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and concerns.
• Participate in student support teams and provide input for individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student counseling sessions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in school counseling or related field.
• State certification as a school counselor.
• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and administrators.
