Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced School Nurse for a part-time, school-based contract position in Live Oak, Texas. We are openly interviewing qualified candidates who meet all local and state requirements. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Job Duties:

As a School Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Providing healthcare services to students, including managing chronic conditions and administering medications.
• Developing and implementing individualized health care plans (IHPs) for students with specific health needs.
• Conducting health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis checks.
• Managing and maintaining student health records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Acting as a liaison between school personnel, family, and community healthcare providers to ensure a healthy school environment.
• Educating students and staff on health-related topics and promoting wellness.
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid when necessary.
