School Nurse (RN) Contract Role - Advocate for Student Health

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Waltham, MA area. We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality care to students and supporting their health needs in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications and managing chronic conditions.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses, ensuring students’ health needs are met.
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with medical conditions.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns.
• Monitor and maintain student immunization records and other health-related documentation.
• Promote and educate the school community on health and wellness topics.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child health, first aid, and emergency procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
