School Nurse (RN) Contract Role

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced School RN for a full-time role with school districts in the Morris Plains, NJ area. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about supporting the health and well-being of students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health support to students, including administering medications and first aid.
• Conduct health assessments and monitor student health conditions during school hours.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to manage student health care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and policies.
• Educate students and staff on health and safety practices.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as required.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support the overall health objectives of the school community.
