School Nurse (RN) Contract Role

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School RNs for a full-time role with school districts in the Pittsfield, MA area. We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals passionate about providing direct nursing care and ensuring the well-being of students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site nursing care and emergency response for students.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct health screenings and routine assessments for students.
• Collaborate with school staff to manage chronic health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and provide timely communication with parents and healthcare providers.
• Promote a healthy school environment through educational programs and health initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one).
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student health and safety.
