Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students, ensuring alignment with their IEPs and educational goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy strategies.
• Documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records, and actively participating in IEP meetings.
• Offering consultation and training to school staff to facilitate the integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in delivering occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) state license.
• Strong commitment to student success and well-being.

• Previous experience working in school-based settings is a plus.
