Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Occupational Therapists (OT) for a full-time role in school districts within the Central Falls, RI area. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving their academic and functional goals in a dynamic and supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional needs to determine eligibility and develop individualized plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to implement effective interventions and accommodations.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to students' needs.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Consult with teachers and staff to promote strategies that enhance student participation and success in the classroom.
• Participate in team meetings, including IEP and 504 plan discussions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
• Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapy license (required).
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) (preferred).
• Previous experience in a school setting (preferred).
• Must meet all local and state requirements, including:
  • Passing a comprehensive background check.
  • Current immunizations and health clearances.
