School Occupational Therapist (OT) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated team in Moorpark, CA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting, providing essential therapeutic services to students in need. You will collaborate with educators and other professionals to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' motor, cognitive, and sensory abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• California Occupational Therapist License required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a school or pediatric setting.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and regulations in California.
