School Occupational Therapist - OT Needed

Location: Port Orchard, WA

BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to work at multiple locations in Port Orchard, WA. The OT will provide services to students and assist with enhancing their functional skills to support their learning and development.

Position Details:

• Schedule:
  • Full-time (6.25 hours per day)
  • In-person, on-site assignment
• Caseload:
  • Occupational therapy services will be provided at multiple locations. Specific student caseload and needs will be determined based on assignment.
• Start Date:
  • ASAP
• End Date:
  • June 5, 2025

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in need of occupational therapy support
• Assess students' physical and functional abilities and develop individualized plans to address their needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students’ academic and physical success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy interventions
• Assist students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional skills as needed
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications to support student learning and participation

Special Requirements:

• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License
• Valid Washington State ESA Certificate for Occupational Therapist
