Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role with school districts in the Rensselaer, IN area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Indiana Board of Medicine
  • Completion of a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve students' ability to perform daily activities and achieve educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students with disabilities
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on best practices for accommodating students' needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments
