Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time, school-based position in Vallejo, CA. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential therapy services within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans to meet each student's unique needs.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with varying disabilities, ensuring they can fully participate in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessments.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of student-specific goals and objectives.
• Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support students' ongoing development outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements for Occupational Therapy in California.
• Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate within the school environment.
