School OT Position Now Available

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Phoenix, AZ School District

Blazerworks, a leading education staffing agency, is currently partnering with a reputable school district in Phoenix, AZ to fill the position of Occupational Therapist (OT). We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team on a full-time basis. This position has the potential for renewal for the next school year, providing an opportunity for long-term employment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific goals and objectives
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic interventions and activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional success
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education regulations is a plus
