School Paraprofessional Needed - Flint, MI

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced paraprofessionals (para) for a full-time role with school districts in the Flint, MI area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Paraprofessional certification as required by state and local regulations.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Understanding of child development and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with students.
• Toileting and Diapering may be part of the job, so you must be ok with that. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning material.
• Provide support to students with special needs, ensuring their safety and inclusion.
• Help with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist with classroom activities, including preparing materials and setting up equipment.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other non-instructional periods.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures.
• Toileting and Diapering may be part of the job, so you must be ok with that.
