School Paraprofessional - Castle Rock, CO (Full-Time, 2024-2025 School Year)

Blazerworks is excited to partner with a well-respected school district in Castle Rock, CO, to hire a dedicated and passionate School Paraprofessional for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting students' educational and emotional development, working closely with teachers, staff, and special education teams to ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to classroom teachers in managing student behavior and classroom activities.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts.
• Help maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assist with record-keeping, lesson preparation, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies that meet students' academic and social needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from teachers and administrators.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students, especially those with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
