School Paraprofessionals: Pittsburgh, PA

Are you looking for a school based position? We are currently interviewing for paraprofessionals near Pitssburg, PA to work in the local school system. Apply below if you are interested in working one on one with students in the Special Education program. 

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers by helping to deliver lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized instruction to students.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce academic skills, assist with assignments, and address any learning difficulties.
• Help maintain a positive learning environment by monitoring student behavior, implementing classroom management strategies, and addressing any disruptions or conflicts.
• Act as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents by relaying information, addressing concerns, and ensuring effective communication channels.
• Assist with administrative duties such as preparing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and performing clerical tasks to support the classroom's needs.

• Full Time 
• Contract
• 2024 - 2025 School Year
• Supporting students in the Special Education Program 
• Positions available in all grade levels
• Usually one to one positions with students
• Additional caseload details will be discussed on the virtual interview.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Para Educator License from the Dept. of Education (Preferred)
