About the Role:

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the North Chicago, IL area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support to students, parents, and staff.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
  • Implement and monitor progress of intervention strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
