School Psychologist Full or Part Time Position

Blazer Jobs, a premier provider of special education staffing services, is partnering with local school districts in Mount Prospect, IL, to fill an exciting School Psychologist position. We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting students' mental, emotional, and educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and mental health interventions to help students manage emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Support school staff with strategies for crisis intervention and behavior management.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes student well-being.

Requirements:

• State Certification: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement is required.
• Education: Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
