School Psychologist - Full Time - 23 / 24 NSY - Weekly Pay

Blazerworks, in partnership with the local school district, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Blue Island, IL. This is a full-time position offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide counseling and support services to students, addressing a range of social-emotional and behavioral issues
• Conduct crisis intervention and participate in the school's response to critical incidents
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote positive mental health and well-being
• Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support to students and families

Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Pass required background checks and clearances
