School Psychologist - Full-Time Opportunity in Rifle, CO

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Rifle, CO area.   • Pay Rate: $36–$39 per hour
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Renewal: Based on performance

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to apply:

  • Education: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
  • Licensure: Active and valid School Psychologist license in Colorado.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a K-12 setting.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass state and local background checks.

Responsibilities:

As a School Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
  • Providing individual and group counseling to students.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student development and well-being.
  • Assisting with the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Offering crisis intervention and support when needed.
  • Providing consultation to staff and parents on strategies to address mental health, behavioral, and academic issues.
