Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to apply:
- Education: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure: Active and valid School Psychologist license in Colorado.
- Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a K-12 setting.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass state and local background checks.
Responsibilities:
As a School Psychologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students.
- Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Providing individual and group counseling to students.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student development and well-being.
- Assisting with the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Offering crisis intervention and support when needed.
- Providing consultation to staff and parents on strategies to address mental health, behavioral, and academic issues.
