Full-Time School Psychologist – Lawrence, MA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Lawrence, MA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide essential psychological services to students.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
• Possess an active Massachusetts School Psychologist certification issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
• Have prior experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in an educational setting
• Meet all local and state requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and district-specific clearances

Responsibilities

As a School Psychologist, key responsibilities may include:

• Conducting psychological and educational assessments to determine students' needs
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
• Providing counseling services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
• Assisting with behavioral intervention plans and crisis intervention strategies
• Maintaining detailed records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
• Participating in IEP and 504 meetings to advocate for students' mental health and academic needs
