School Psychologist Full-Time Position

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Marshall, MI area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
• Provide counseling services to students, helping them address academic challenges, emotional difficulties, and social interactions.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for students and staff during emergencies or critical situations.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as necessary based on data and student progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with special education laws and to promote student success.
• Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology and special education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Michigan state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Must meet all Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements for School Psychologists.
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
