School Psychologist - Full Time Role

Full-Time School Psychologist – Manassas, Virginia

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a short term position with school districts in Manassas, Virginia. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional to support students' emotional, social, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services.
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
• Educate and train school staff on strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid Virginia license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in school psychology.
