Full-Time School Psychologist – Manassas, Virginia
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a short term position with school districts in Manassas, Virginia. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional to support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Educate and train school staff on strategies to support students' mental health and well-being.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Virginia license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in school psychology.
