School Psychologist Job Available - Calabasas, CA

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Calabasas, CA area. We are actively interviewing qualified candidates who are dedicated to supporting student success through comprehensive psychological services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' educational and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school personnel.
• Provide counseling services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional issues.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to create positive learning environments and promote student well-being.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.
• Stay informed about best practices and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid California state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology required.
• Meet all California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements.
• Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
