School Psychologist Job Available Full-Time

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Port Orchard, WA area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' educational and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions.
• Provide counseling services to students, addressing a range of issues including academic challenges, behavioral concerns, and emotional well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students and school staff when necessary.
• Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements in school psychology and special education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid California state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology is required.
• Must meet all California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements.
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
