Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Mansfield, TX. This position involves working across multiple campuses, providing comprehensive psychological services to students from Early Childhood (EC) through 12th grade. The role includes conducting evaluations, offering counseling support, and collaborating with educators and parents to support students’ academic and emotional well-being.

Location: Mansfield, TX

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluations: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across multiple grade levels (EC-12) to determine educational needs, eligibility for special education services, and other support requirements.
  • Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues that impact their academic performance and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies and interventions that support students’ educational and emotional needs.
  • Consultation: Offer consultation services to school staff regarding behavioral management strategies, crisis intervention, and student support plans.
  • Program Development: Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs and interventions aimed at promoting mental health and academic success.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, counseling sessions, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Texas School Psychologist certification or equivalent licensure.
  • Experience: Prior experience working in a school setting preferred; experience with EC-12 student populations is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills; ability to work effectively across multiple campuses and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
