School Psychologist Job Opportunity Full-Time Position - Hillsboro, OR

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Hillsboro, OR area. We are looking for dedicated professionals committed to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' educational and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing issues such as academic challenges, emotional regulation, and social skills development.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to students, staff, and families as needed.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions and support strategies based on data and outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with special education laws and to support student success.
• Stay informed about current best practices and legal requirements in school psychology and special education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Oregon state license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Must meet all Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) requirements.
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
