Position Overview:
- Role: School Psychologist

Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, including learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Intervention: Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students’ educational and emotional well-being.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create strategies for academic success and positive behavior.
- Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to students, helping them manage emotional or social difficulties.
- IEP Contribution: Participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring specialized services, contributing to a holistic support strategy.
- Crisis Intervention: Assist in crisis situations, offering immediate support and resources to students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a valid School Psychologist certification in Kansas, meeting state and district requirements.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Familiarity with IEP processes and behavioral intervention strategies is essential.
