School Psychologist Job

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Stonecrest, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic or behavioral challenges.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies to address learning and behavioral issues.
• Promote mental health awareness and provide training to school staff on topics such as crisis intervention and child development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Education: Specialist degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid School Psychologist certification issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
  Research
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school setting.
