Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Psychologists for full-time positions within school districts in the Casa Grande, AZ area.

Position Summary: As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of students within the school setting. You will conduct assessments, provide counseling services, and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment conducive to students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Requirements: Candidates must meet all local and state requirements to practice as a Psychologist in an educational setting. Essential qualifications include:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Arizona state licensure or certification as a Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational interventions, accommodations, and support services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address students' social-emotional concerns, behavioral challenges, and mental health issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, develop intervention strategies, and coordinate services.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students' academic and social-emotional development in the classroom.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in times of need.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, counseling sessions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
