Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district in Plaistow, NH, is in search of a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist. The chosen candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and parents, ensuring an environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to ascertain student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to devise Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Offer individual and group counseling to students as necessary.
• Assist in crisis intervention and spearhead preventive measures.
• Propose and employ strategies to tackle behavioral issues within the classroom setting.
• Offer training sessions to the school's staff on subjects such as behavioral intervention techniques and understanding various psychological conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and continuously assess the progress and well-being of students.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Must possess a valid School Psychologist license or certification for New Hampshire.
• Robust interpersonal skills with a capacity for effective communication with students, staff, and parents.
• Proficiency with state and federal guidelines concerning school psychology.
• Previous experience within a school environment is advantageous.
