School Psychologist Opportunity Available in Springfield, OH

Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a Springfield school district, is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist. This role entails working in a school environment to support the emotional, social, and academic development of students, using psychological theories and methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to assess the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students.
• Develop and monitor individualized intervention strategies, including behavior management techniques and crisis intervention.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Offer consultation to teachers and parents regarding students' learning and behavior.
• Engage in regular professional development and stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification for the practice of school psychology in Ohio.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with common educational and psychological assessment tools.
