We are partnering with a school in the Duncan, South Carolina area to find a full-time, onsite School Psychologist for the full 2024 2025 school year. We are looking for a knowledgeable and caring candidate who meets the requirements below to join our Special Education team! As an onsite School Psychologist, you will provide life changing and meaningful services to our Special Education students.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active School Psychology South Carolina License Level II or III
  • Must have Master s Degree or Doctoral Level Degree in School Psychology
  • Must be licensed through the South Carolina Board
  • Must have previous school-based experience

Position Details:

  • 08/05/2024 - 05/23/2025
  • Will consider full or part-time candidates at this time
  • Onsite only
  • Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
  • Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to address the psychological and educational needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive and effective learning environments.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and services.
  • Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students within the school and the wider community.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support in response to critical incidents affecting the school community.
