Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Psychologist to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. As a vital member of our school-based team, the Psychologist will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for students with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
  • Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and intervention plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational goals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school-based setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
