Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational team in Byron, CA, serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students.
Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify and address students' learning, social, and emotional needs.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support strategies.
Provide counseling services to students individually or in group settings, addressing various issues affecting their well-being.
Participate in Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute insights and support the development of individualized plans.
Conduct classroom observations to assess the learning environment and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement positive behavioral interventions and support.
Stay informed about state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines governing special education services.
Master s degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
California credential authorizing the performance of psychological services.
Previous experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred.
Knowledge of best practices in school psychology, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
