School Psychologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
• Consult with teachers and staff to promote a supportive learning environment and address student concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop strategies that enhance student success.

Qualifications:

• Specialist-level degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology from a state-approved or National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)-approved program.
• Valid National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential issued by the National School Psychology Certification Board.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
