School Psychologist

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This role is pivotal in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students within our partnered schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide counseling services to students to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Consult with teachers and staff to develop effective classroom strategies and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Specialist degree (Ed.S.) or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia state certification in School Psychology.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
