School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Chester, PA

Blazerworks is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position in Chester, PA for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is in partnership with a supportive school district, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, following the school calendar

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Work one-on-one or in small group settings with students to promote positive behavioral changes
  • Collect and record data on student progress and provide feedback to the BCBA and school team
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a consistent and effective learning environment
  • Assist in classroom settings by reinforcing behavioral strategies and social skills development
  • Support crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies when necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all student interactions

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active RBT certification
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and behavioral specialists
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans effectively and adapt to different student needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
