Job Description: BlazerJobs is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Monroe, NC. As an integral part of the school health services team, the School RN will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to students, promoting wellness, and managing health-related issues within the school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing student health needs and providing appropriate care
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Developing and implementing individualized health plans for students with specific needs
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid as necessary
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards students' health and well-being
