School RN Orange, NJ

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time positions working with school districts in the Orange, NJ area. We are conducting interviews now for highly qualified candidates who are dedicated to providing top-notch care to students in a school setting.

Job Responsibilities:

As a school-based RN, your duties will include:

• Providing direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and responding to medical emergencies.
• Developing and implementing individual health care plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Collaborating with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitoring student immunization records and maintaining health documentation.
• Educating students and staff on health practices, disease prevention, and wellness programs.
• Complying with all school health policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing (preferred).
• Familiarity with IEPs and 504 plans is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet all New Jersey state and local health department regulations.
