Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time positions within school districts in the Espanola, New Mexico area. We are currently conducting interviews for qualified candidates who meet all local and state requirements for this role.


  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the State of New Mexico.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational settings, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and therapy techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Dedication to maintaining ethical and professional standards in practice.


  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students to address communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the educational curriculum.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on students' progress and recommendations for home-based support.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of assessment data, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
