Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time positions within school districts in the Yelm, Washington area. We are currently conducting interviews for qualified candidates who meet all local and state requirements for this role.

Requirements:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the State of Washington.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant local and state regulations governing speech-language pathology services in school settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining ethical and professional standards in practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the integration of therapy goals into the educational curriculum.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide input on appropriate accommodations and modifications for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Stay informed about best practices in speech-language pathology and pursue opportunities for professional development.
