Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time positions within school districts in the Yuma, Arizona area. We are currently conducting interviews for qualified candidates who meet all local and state requirements for this role.
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the State of Arizona.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant local and state regulations governing speech-language pathology services in school settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining ethical and professional standards in practice.
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language delays.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the integration of therapy goals into the educational curriculum.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide input on appropriate accommodations and modifications for students with speech and language disorders.
