Speech Language Pathologist - Montgomery, MN

Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time roles with school districts in the Montgomery, MN area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students overcome speech and language challenges to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress and success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech-language services.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech-language services to students.
