Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Birmingham, AL area. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about helping students achieve communication success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student evaluations, progress, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Alabama SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
