Job Description:
School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):
As a School SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders in students. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' communication needs. Your role may involve working with students of varying ages and abilities, conducting screenings, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA):
As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to provide support in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and assisting with documentation. Your role will contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students with communication disorders.
