Position Overview:

As an SLP within the Lapeer, MI school district, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop essential communication and language skills. Your expertise will contribute to the academic and personal growth of students, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech and language therapy to students in a school-based setting.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of therapy sessions and progress.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Michigan state licensure and ASHA certification.
