Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Position

Location: Topeka, KS

Blazer Jobs is excited to collaborate with a forward-thinking school district in Topeka, KS, actively conducting interviews for a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position during the 2023/2024 school year. We are seeking a professional with recent experience to contribute to the students' communication and language development.

Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders in students. Your expertise will contribute to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the academic curriculum.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding students' progress and strategies for support.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Kansas license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• Recent experience in a school setting is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
