School Social Worker - De Soto, KS

We are currently seeking a skilled Part-time School Social Worker to join our team in De Soto, TX, for the upcoming academic year. The candidate will provide essential social work services to students, collaborating closely with school staff and families to support students' academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions, addressing social or emotional challenges faced by students.
• Assess students' needs and formulate tailored intervention plans to address social, emotional, or behavioral issues impacting their academic progress.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with educators, parents, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive support services for students.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Licensed Social Worker in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Preferred experience in a school setting.
